Are you a know it all?

14 Jun

This morning the kids woke up at the glorious hour of 6:30 a.m., 🙂 so needless to say, Mommy also was up and at ’em bright and early!lol…

I got some cleaning done, (my husband is probably rejoicing if he reads this right now…haha,) and was able to read the Bible with the kids while they ate breakfast.

I came across a great scripture that told how God directs the ways of the humble, and I thought two things: am I humble and teachable?  Am I open to learning what God has to show me?

I really hope that I am!  Sometimes we think we have learned so much and have figured it all out.  I pray that no matter what I accomplish, that I always have a spirit that is sweet, kind, and open to learning.

There is nothing worse than someone with a “know it all” attitude, so I definitely don’t want to take on this attitude with God either. 🙂

Just yesterday a friend and I were talking on the phone and she encouraged me by saying, “you have the answers, but you never act like your answers are the “be all/end all,” and you always seem open to the ideas of others.”   I appreciated her kind words, but I still know I could do even better.

Lord, help us to always remain open and teachable!  Amen!
